Two paths

Genesis

Start something.

For builders turning a new idea, early prototype, or problem worth solving into a working product.

Idea → MVP

Scale

Take it further.

For experienced builders, founders, and teams ready to move an existing product or ambitious concept toward production.

Prototype → Product

Tracks on the Genesis path

These tracks belong to the Genesis path. Genesis builders can be part of both. Scale projects don’t need to pick a track.

Stellar Unlocked

Your project gets something new out of Stellar's core protocol features.

Stellar Composed

Your project combines two or more ecosystem tools or projects into something new.

Judging

How projects are judged.

How judging works: async review of the demo video, pitch deck, GitHub repo, and submission answers. Live pitches are only for finalists, on Wed Oct 28.

Judging priority order: Adoption → Discovery → Continuation.

One rubric scores every project. Each criterion is scored 1–5. Genesis is scored on Track Alignment. Scale is scored on Ecosystem Alignment. The criteria and weights are on the Build page.

Genesis is judged as Idea → MVP. Scale is judged as Prototype → Product.

Genesis

  • Problem clarity
  • MVP quality
  • Stellar integration
  • Continued development potential

Scale

  • Milestone completion against goals set at pre-event intake
  • SCF eligibility
  • Production readiness
  • Ecosystem impact
